Dolce Advertising was founded in 1956, when a young graphic designer, Charles Dolce, first opened its doors in the old Godchaux building in New Orleans’ Central Business District.
At that time, WWL-TV was just beginning to broadcast its first black-and-white images to the city, the Crescent City Connection had just held its ribbon cutting joining the West and East Banks downtown, and the University of New Orleans was just opening its doors.
Today, over six decades later, Perry Dolce carries on the family advertising legacy at Dolce’s Mid-City location on Canal Street. Dolce’s past and present clients include some incredible New Orleans institutions, including: Aucoin Hart Jewelers, Bedding Plus, The Womac Law Firm, and Metairie Bank.
